The client had decided on a location photography project in Manchester Northern Quarter and we were fortunate enough to have a rare sunny day in Manchester. I very much enjoy getting out of the photographic studio and on location, although you are open to the elements there is generally more interesting scenery to take advantage of, and in the streets of the Northern quarter there are historical buildings, cobbled streets, old mills and graffiti walls amongst other things to fill your frame.

I try not to pigeon hole myself and call myself a fitness photographer as such but it’s certainly one of my favourite styles of photography, working with models and athletes you can certainly get great dynamic images. On the day we went for more a lifestyle photography vibe rather than freeze motion or action shots.
